I've just had my first week back at work since being back home and it's the first time in a good three months that I haven't had my camera in hand almost every day. Money in the bank feels good (alright alright I admit, I've actually only just made equilibrium on my credit card after a couple of tight weeks) but I do feel a little strange being back into 'routine' all over again.
So, because I myself haven't done a lot of posting about my time in Australia this year, I thought I'd keep the blogging going with some throwbacks to my fantastic four weeks across the ditch.
I'm lucky enough to have some of my best friends living in Sydney (or unlucky - for those pessimists reading) but this year was the first time that I finally had the pleasure of meeting Mel! Mel is kind of everything I wish I was when it comes to fashion. Perfect balance of casual and boyish with girly and well put together. On top of that, she's a bit of a babe. She runs a blog called Flourished & Sunkissed and asked me to get together with her to photograph a couple of things while I was killing time in Sydney.
Her full blog post for this outfit can be found here. Please do go check out her blog and her ideas behind the shoot because she really did orchestrate the whole thing. Her angle was a 'couple' photoshoot with matching outfits, without too much of a 'couply' vibe. I think we pulled it off. Take a look.
I have a tonne more photos to share including 2 more Flourished and Sunkissed posts! Be sure to check back soon.
