Early Wednesday morning I picked up my cousin from the airport as he had 48 hours in Shangers on his way through to England. So apologies in advance for these photos, I was pretty busy and they were very last minute in their execution (we're talking some of these taken minutes before midnight).

For Friday's 365 I ducked down to the Bund and took photos in front of the wall of flowers along the bottom of the pedestrian walk. Obviously it's a really public spot but I figured that a weekday would suit my purposes better. Shooting self portraits in public is something I'll constantly have to be working at in order to improve as it's something I find really difficult. This was absolutely case in point for me, given that a Chinese rubbish sweeper stopped and watched me photograph for a good ten minutes (standing just on the other side of my tripod). I asked him if he wanted to be in a shot with me, but he wasn't interested. I took a snap on my phone so you can see what I'm talking about here:
