Kids of Navala Part One

I have so many photos of kids from my five days in Navala that there will definitely be another blog post to accompany this one later one. The standard procedure that seemed to happen when kids came across me was; "Hello, how are you? What is your name? Where are you from?". They were ridiculously friendly, for the most part weren't very shy and the way the young ones practiced for netball and rugby on their own accord reminded me of me and my friends before we were allowed to be a part of any official school netball team.

At school.

Watching rugby being played by the other kids too young to be in the official school team.

After school rugby games

The kids were all fascinated by one boys backpack

These three set up a tarp to run and slide on (only to be told off later by the owner) before a bunch of other kids joined

This one just came and parked herself on my knee.
